About Us

Led by Fr Rod Walton, of the Ecumenical Community Church, New Forest Prayer Group gathers Christians of all denominations together to share prayer and fellowship and learn from each other. Please feel welcome to come along and join us at any of the prayer meetings listed here - or call Fr Rod for a chat on 01590 624731 or 01590 643810.

Feel free to put forward any ideas you have for taking this venture forward. This early period is a time of growth and direction from the Holy Spirit.

Prayer requests are very welcome. You can phone or email them to us or, if you want us to pray for healing for you, you can come to the church and we will pray for you or will come to you - whichever you feel most comfortable with or are able to do.

Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

Father, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.
